Recommendations and Cleaning Protocol in Response to Covid-19:
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, face or mask if wearing
• Regular hand washing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds should be done frequently.
• If soap and water are not available, use a (60% min) alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
Teachers, staff and STUDENTS must conduct health checks daily:
1. Do you have a fever?
2. Do you have respiratory symptoms?
3. If sick, seek care through your primary health provider and STAY HOME.
4. Follow state guidelines for symptom reporting.
Class Etiquette and Protocol
As per the CDC guidelines, virus killing disinfectants will be used to sanitize and frequently clean the following surfaces on a frequent basis (before/after each class and no less than once daily):
Thank you for your cooperation.
We will re-open on Monday, May 18 with strict adherence to Phase One guidelines. Please read this document carefully and completely.
What does that look like for us and, for you, our dear patrons? We are required to wear face coverings, keep 6 feet of social distancing, and limit occupancy to 25%. Therefore, class size will be strictly limited to 11 people. This will require changes to our schedule and may affect our teaching staff. We will continue to offer online classes via Facebook. If you attend online classes, please comment on the class so we can deduct it from your pack. There is a huge class library available on the group page.
For our in-studio patrons, prior class sign-in is required through the MindBody app and you must arrive to class on time. This will insure the best practices for safety and well-being of everyone. If you need to cancel the reservation please do so within 3 hours of the scheduled class time as spots are limited.
We strongly encourage you to wear a face covering and please stay home if you have respiratory symptoms of any sort (cough, allergies, sinus drip etc). Community mats and props will not be available for public use. Bring your own mat and props.
Furthermore, please leave all valuables locked in the trunk of your vehicle. Once entering, maintain 6 feet of distance at all times. Maintain 6 feet from the front desk and give your name to the teacher/front desk staff. At this time, the lobby is a transition point for entering/exiting, not for congregation.
Private sessions in person (and online) will be available beginning May 18.
In addition to the logistics of resuming in-studio classes, we will follow a daily cleaning regimen (see below). We are cautiously optimistic and want to provide the much needed space for practicing yoga during this incredibly difficult time. We ask for flexibility and understanding as we move forward in Phase One. Thank you for being here.
