Pilates is a series of exercises that focuses on improving core strength, flexibility and postural stability. Based on the original Joseph Pilates method, the class combines breath and movement to invigorate and enhance the body’s natural capabilities to improve overall health and mobility. The class is performed on a pilates or yoga mat as Joseph Pilates intended.

FLOW YOGA Connect breath with movement while building strength and flexibility with a strong focus on alignment. Learn to let go of outside distractions as you take your focus inward. Leave feeling calmer and more balanced, physically and mentally.

  • CHILL FLOW is great for beginners and will focus on detailed verbal instructions of basic asanas (yoga poses). Students will begin to understand movement linked to breath. This class moves slower than our Basics and All Levels classes, with attention to foundational poses, ease and relaxation.  
  • BASICS is great for beginners, and will focus on detailed verbal instructions of basic asanas (yoga poses). Students will begin to understand movement linked to breath. This class moves slower than our All Levels class, allowing for more instruction and clarity in building the foundation of the basic poses.
  • ALL LEVELS classes mean that all levels are welcome! However, the class will move at a faster pace than our Basics class, and will assume that you have a basic knowledge of asanas (poses), i.e. if the instructor says go to Warrior 1 or Downward Dog, you know what to do. The instructor will help students modify postures as needed, and easier versions of asanas will be offered during practice so students can move at a comfortable pace.
  • SMARTFLOW yoga classes celebrate the innate intelligence of juicy, flowing movement, developed by Los Angeles based master yoga teacher, Annie Carpenter. SmartFLOW sequences are intelligently designed for a healthy and safe yoga practice. Britni Serou is one of only 12 certified SmartFLOW teachers internationally, after training and assisting Annie over several years and completing additional certification assignments.

YIN Yin yoga teaches the body to surrender allowing deep tissues to release and minds to quiet. A gentle practice with long holds that are more active than Relaxation yoga. Open to all levels.

RELAXATION A very slow, gentle practice. Long holds in restorative poses, supported by bolsters and blankets, allowing for a deep release of physical and mental tension. The only effort needed is to show up! Open to all levels.

PILATES MAT 

Pilates Mat is a series of exercises that focuses on improving core strength, flexibility and postural stability. Based on the original Joseph Pilates method, the class combines breath and movement to invigorate and enhance the body’s natural capabilities to improve overall health and mobility. The class is performed on a Pilates mat or Yoga mat.
