ANGELA GAINEY, RYT 200
Angela began her yoga journey in September 2016. She found a tribe, an inspiring sangha of yogis, in her local Northshore community of Louisiana. This transition paved a path of Svadhyaya (self-study), emerging through a regular asana practice led by mentors who have a deep understanding and love for Hatha and Vinyasa styles of yoga - approaching each practice as an inquiry to honor the individual needs of your body. In 2017, Angela participated in a teacher training program that complemented her yoga practice, helped plant the seed that peaked an interest in becoming a certified yoga instructor and allowed her to continue her yoga path with a quality driven intention to move mindfully both on and off the mat.Angela completed Annie Carpenter's 200hr SmartFLOW yoga teacher training at Downtown Yoga in Hammond, Louisiana under the guidance of master teachers, Britni Serou, E-RYT 500, YACEP and Janet Katz, E-RYT 500, YACEP.
